East Coast > West Coast

While we all love Biggie, Mr. Tupac Shakur is generally disliked in our circle of friends. I'm totally with this, I think Pac isn't very good or skilled on anything. HOWEVER, I very much like his staight-up god damn party jam "California Love" it is just fucking fine. It's a hit jam that will attract me straight to a dancefloor. Provided I have a drink in my right hand that I can sip while I swagger, I will have a killer time.

Another song that is bait to a dancefloor for me is Mr. Wallace's "Mo Money Mo Problems". Even though it's P. Diddy and some other fag who uses a "$" over an "S" and Biggie has one lonely verse (which dominates Diddy's anyway), it's still pretty damn hot. It's a damn shame the Big Poppa is dead, he would still be hustlin' (even though he stopped hustlin' when he got all street cred and hip-hop-happenin') and I'd gladly pay money to see him lug his fat arse around a stage going "IT WAS ALL A DREAM". That would be fantastic.

Moral of the story, yeah, we can hate on peeps, but when it comes to pushing and shoving, east side is di best.

Notorious B.I.G. - Mo Money Mo Problems
2Pac - California Love

PS. I <3 The Byrds.

First patient; pull out the skull remove the cancer, breakin' his back, chisel necks for the answer. Supersonic boinic robot voodoo power equator ex my chance to flex skills on Amphex.

Dr. Octagonecologyst is still a fantastic hip-hop album that should remain in obsrurity from the mainstream eye. It's just too good for them.

Also, I remember DANGERDOOM's The Mouse and The Mask being much, much better.

Unsafe

My blog isn't safe from him.
My room isn't.
My brain is, but I can't keep the feelings jammed in there forever.

Fuck you, cunt. You ruin my life.

Your principles are skewed, opinions are unintelligent. You don't understand life.

Stop trying, you've already failed. I'm a shithead, an racist, an intellectual, cocky and an alcoholic. You depress me.

I'm not okay, I don't want to talk about it with you. I know who I want to talk to, if it's not you, ignore and move on. Fucking hell I'm fucked.

Well Then...

My plans were totally ruined.
This week I planned to play World of WarCraft for a ridiculous amount of hours. Yesterday I did many, grinded up herbalism skill and ding'd to 72, pretty decent. However, the fucking server maintennance (still going until 2pm) screwed over my all-nighter.

Then when I decided and prepared to play Mass Effect all night, I just got super tired and decided to go to sleep, but then Hannah called so we talked and it was lovely then I couldn't get to sleep because I was all HOT-NAH-COLD-NAH-HOT...you know how it is so I ended up playing an hour of two of Mass Effect anyway.

So now WoW is still down and I've gotta fix and update my resume (should I put my ATAR score on it?) so no Mass Effect and I've got a big fucking day of not being at home so that means no WoW and if I go out tonight I'll get home at like 3 and I'll be too stuffed to play WoW or Mass Effect.

And tomorrow, well, get the pleasure of meeting with my darling, then movies, then (according to Pills) going out. But I can't all-nighter it because of the Big Day Out on Friday.

My life is full of first world problems like these.

That's nice, but my mage really isn't good enough to do that...ugh...

Should I sacrifice pancakes for Mass Effect today? I think I shall...maybe...

Cousins

ME AND MY COUSINS AND YOU AND YOUR COUSINS, IT'S A LINE THAT IS ALWAYS RUNNIN'. ME AND MY COUSINS AND YOU AND YOUR COUSINS, I CAN FEEL IT COMIN'.

I love this song.

Vampire Weekend have dropped the first killer album of the new decade. It's damn good. It's all the pop you expect with some strings thrown in here and there."I Think Ur A Contra" is a beautiful album closer, strings are arranged very nicely, giving a darling feeling to the whole song. "Cousins" is the mothafunkin' party and "California English" is totally lol-autotune in the verse. Pretty darn swell, really.

Four outta Five.

Some things make me want to put my wand to my head and AVADA KEDAVRA so the green pew pew majik lazahhh just ends all the shitty bitchyness. But is that how wizard and witches suicide like at the end of drama movies where it's all tense and shit. And like Harry in "In Bruges". That's a grand film.

Also, have to say, Afro Samurai Video Game OST is better than RZA's film OST. It's so much more entertaining, fresh and hip-hop-happenin'-er.

Late Night

Whenever I'm on the computer and it's late, the best music is GZA - Liquid Swords.

For some reason it just works so amazingly well. It's probably because if you're on the computer late at night, you're generally feeling lonely and hollow, and Liquid Swords' production just echoes those feelings through the sparse beats and haunting samples used. RZA, another masterpiece of production, well done, sir.

I play a lot of video games late at night also. If parents aren't home, it'll be a hardcore World of WarCraft session. It'll start after dinner and then go until about 3 or 4. Console sessions starting at about 00:00am are also great. Borderlands consumes the early morning, but Lock's Quest and Prince of Persia are also weighty contested for my hardcore sessions.

Right now, I'm watching anime. .hack//SIGN specifically. I love this anime even though I know it's not that good. I have it on DVD from ages ago and I bust it out every few years. Guess it's that time. Might watch DVD 1 tonight, five episodes that I've seen so many times before.

Moral of the story: When it's late and your on the computer feeling lonely, an album produced by RZA is your beat friend (Afro Samurai soundtrack is also good).
